❤ Hey there Better Lifers!

"Simply do this:

Be still, and lay aside all thoughts of what you are and what God is;

all concepts you have learned about the world;
all images you hold about yourself.

Empty your mind of everything it thinks is either true or false, or good or bad, of every thought it judges worthy, and all the ideas of which it is ashamed.

Hold onto nothing.

Do not bring with you one thought the past has taught, nor one belief you ever learned before from anything.

Forget this world, forget this course, and come with wholly empty hands unto your God."

- A Course In Miracles, Lesson 189

A Course In Miracles is not a religious course.

In the course, God is not the religious, biblical God.

While in the course God is Love, the more profound truth the course is telling us (as do other paths) is that God is beyond words.

Trying to understand what God is with your mind is like trying to pour the ocean into a cup.

So if you find yourself having difficulties with the word or concept of God, or with what you really are, remember how the above quote started:

"lay aside all thoughts of what you are and what God is"

🛑 When we question what we think and believe,
we open the door and make room for new understandings and insights.

That is how change can happen.
That's a critical key to having a happier, better, more awakened life.

To your better life,
with tons of đź’–
